COVID-19 Telemedicine Update for April
In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Eastover Psychological & Psychiatric Group of the Carolinas will continue to provide exclusively telemedicine services to our patients through Friday, May 1, 2020.
Though we will still be here answering the phones and conducting telemedicine visits, the office will not be open for any in-person visits.
We are using doxy.me, a secure and HIPAA-compliant video-conferencing service, for these visits. There is nothing to sign up for and no account to create. You will receive a text message at or around your appointment time with a link to your clinicians' "virtual waiting room." You can either follow that link to begin on your smartphone, or you can copy that link to the browser on your tablet, laptop, or computer if you prefer. You will be asked to sign in. Then when your clinician is ready, you will be connected.
The most important thing is that we have your correct contact phone number on file. It also helps to be connected to wifi. But if the connection is poor, or your camera/mic isn't working, don't worry. We can switch over to an old-fashioned telephone call if we need to.
Stay safe, and check back to this website for more updates.
